Presentation at the Mate-shs network annual conference on 15 and 16 May

The twelfth annual conference of the Mate-shs network will be held on 15 and 16 May in Aix-en-Provence, on the premises of the Maison méditerranéenne des sciences de l’homme.
The theme will be ‘Making the most of data, results and codes: management, sharing and accessibility’.

The first half-day session will look at the use of data and methods to preserve or restore heritage through 2 research projects, including the project based on data produced as part of the Notre-Dame de Paris scientific worksite (CNRS/MC).
This morning will also see the presentation of an online tool for promoting the MMSH’s cartographic heritage. We will then broaden the question of data enhancement with a discussion on the Data & Corpus review of data papers and the Wikidata environment.

Friday will be organised around an update on the progress of major projects for the Shs community: Commons and HALiance (WP7), followed by the traditional ‘life of the network’ session. In the early afternoon, there will be a workshop on educational games, led by the association ‘La ville en jeux’.
