Researchers from the laboratory will be on hand on Saturday September 21 from 10am to 5pm to man a stand at La Citadelle de Marseille during the 2024 European Heritage Days.
A virtual tour of the cells used by military prisoners will immerse participants in these spaces not accessible to the public. The tour is based on the MYRTE (MY viRtual tour for archiTecture and cultural heritagE) prototype currently under development in the laboratory.
This event, which is open to the public, also reflects the digitization work carried out over the last two years, supported by a summer workshop held in collaboration with the École Nationale d’Architecture de Marseille.
Engeôlez vous!
Take an immersive tour of the Citadelle’s gaols, equipped with a virtual reality headset. The team from the CNRS laboratory Models and Simulations for Architecture and Heritage (UPR 2002 MAP) is offering an exclusive virtual tour of these spaces, based on extensive documentation and modeling work using 3D digitization.
