Online Competence Centre in 3D for Cultural Heritage
The EU-funded Online Competence Centre in 3D for Cultural Heritage (3D-4CH) is focused on how we preserve, digitize, and share cultural heritage. By uniting the histories of the EU and Ukraine with cutting-edge 3D technologies, this initiative builds on successful projects like “The 4CH Project – Competence Centre for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage” and “5Dculture – Deploying and Demonstrating a 3D Cultural Heritage Space” while paving the way for future collaborations. Designed as a vibrant online hub, it empowers cultural professionals with training, tools, and resources for 3D digitization, AI, and XR, fostering innovation across education, tourism, and research.
With a special focus on preserving Ukrainian heritage, 3D-4CH champions inclusivity, sustainability, and global collaboration, ensuring cultural treasures are safeguarded, celebrated, and shared for generations to come.
Within this project, MAP is involved as an associate partner in its capacity as a member of E-RIHS. It is contributing its expertise by participating in the research work package coordinated by FBK – 3DOM (WP3).
