As part of its research activity, the UPR MAP research unit designs and develops innovative protocols and/or designs, develops and tests computer-based research prototypes, some of which are likely to be deployed beyond the specific activities in which they were created. In addition, as part of its scientific dissemination and mediation activities, the laboratory is often involved in the design of edutainment systems, with or without digital support, for academic, cultural and social partners.
The question raised by this transversal workshop is therefore that of the transfer of the unit’s productions, beyond scientific circles, and more specifically that of the relevance (or not) of the unit’s commitment to such a goal, and in turn of how such a goal could be practically achieved.
Objective
Given the number, but also the heterogeneity in nature, maturity and complexity of the MAP research unit’s productions, the issue raised here is not trivial. The ‘transfer actions’ transversal workshop aims at limiting the human cost of dispersed transfer routes – in other words at limiting the collective cost of undiscussed practices and experiences. The aim of the workshop is to capitalise on and share practical knowledge of transfer methods in order to facilitate decision-making on the implementation of transfer routes where appropriate.
Work method
- Shared synthesis of the different transfer routes to hand for our research unit
- Setting up a grid to align the laboratory’s products with the various players in society
- Collection and capitalisation of feedback
- Planning of potential transfer experiences as they arise
