Since January 20025, MAP UPR 2002 has adopted the Contributor Role Taxonomy (CRediT), which is used to describe the main types of contribution generally made to the production and publication of research results such as research articles. It is a simple system for capturing and describing the range and diversity of contributor roles.

In 2022, CRedit was recognized as a NISO standard, which can be consulted on their site :https://groups.niso.org/higherlogic/ws/public/download/26466/ANSI-NISO-Z39.104-2022.pdf

How to apply the CRediT standard :
- By adding a paragraph at the end of the article defining the role of each party. To do this, Yann Cayrol has developed a tool that makes it easy to create this paragraph:

- In English : https://www.map.cnrs.fr/fr/credit_eng/
- By using the tools offered by the publishers at the time of submission. A list of publishers who have adopted the CRediT standard is available here :https://credit.niso.org/adopters/
