Research focus on KR & infovis applied to historical sciences, and particularly to historic architecture.
Co-introduced and developed a methodological framework known as informative modelling, questioning the
relationship between historical sciences and computer-based solutions for data acquisition and analysis.
Research themes and involvements include ontology and terminology for architectural concepts, spatio-temporal
information systems, visual analytics as applied to historical sciences, time-oriented data, architectural
morphology analysis, and tangible interfaces (tactichronie patent).
Wrote and published over 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers in a wide range of scientific disciplines (KR, data analytics, computer graphics, Infovis, digital heritage, Humanities, etc.).
Acts as a reviewer in the above-mentioned scientific circles.
