FIAT LUX

Imagery fusion and time tracking for the study of complex geometry painters

This project aims to articulate skills in image analysis and processing, radiation physics, physical chemistry of materials and 3D spatialization of information, around digital documentation for the conservation of heritage paintings. The project will focus on three areas: the geometric coherence of several sensors (integrating different types of radiation, including visible light), the spatially-localized characterization of the materials making up pictorial layers, and the access, exploration and temporal tracking of information within multi-dimensional interactive representations.
